Sheriff’s Patrol Car Collides With Amblance
A Sheriff’s Deputy collided with an ambulance while they had been working together on Saturday night.
It happened around 6 p.m. on the corner of Old Mill Rd. and Calle Real in Goleta.
Santa Barbara County Fire’s Mike Eliason said the accident happened after an ambulance was called to take an inmate with a head injury to the hospital.
The officer trailing behind the ambulance failed to slow down in time at the intersection.
Four people in the ambulance and one officer were taken to the hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
