DP Football Looking for Bounce Back Season

Key injuries derailed the past two seasons for Dos Pueblos High School football but there is one positive that came out of that pain, playing time for youngsters.

Now those sophomores have plenty of game experience like quarterback Kellen Roberts who will now be a third-year starter as he enters his senior season. He was thrown into the fire as a sophomore after an injury so he has about twenty games of experience.

In all, the Chargers have over 30 returning players including All-Channel League performers like Blake Erwin, Marcellous Gossett, and Chris Noggle.

After winning just a total of four games over the past two seasons, the Chargers begin the year with high expectations as they are ranked second in the preseason CIF Division 10 poll.

DP opens the year on the road with a big challenge at Capistrano Valley.
