Single Vehicle Crash in Orcutt Causes Power Outage

An Orcutt neighborhood is without power Tuesday night after a black pickup truck crashed into a power pole and knocked it over near the intersection of Bradley Road and Woodmere Road.

The crash occurred at about 10:30 p.m. The driver of the pickup was the only occupant in the vehicle at the time of the crash, and suffered minor injuries, according to Santa Barbara County Fire Capt. Dave Zaniboni.

The driver was not identified. He was taken to Marian Regional Medical Center by ambulance.

Crews are working to restore power to an estimated 144 PG&E customers.

The California Highway Patrol is investigating the collision.
