Firefighters Wrap Buildings In Foil For Protection
Santa Barbara County firefighters used foil to protect structures that may be in the path of the Rey fire.
They wrapped about ten buildings on the Ogilvy property on Tuesday.
The foil is similar to the foil they use for their own protection.
Santa Barbara County Fire Captain David Zaniboni shared photos of the foil wrap on Twitter.
He said it has proven to work in other fires and hopes it works to protect structures near the Rey fire.
