Santa Maria Man Arrested for Drugs, Illegal Weapons

A Santa Maria man is under arrest, charged with possessing and selling drugs. Officers also found several illegal guns in his home.

Santa Maria Police served a search warrant on the 1300 block of Ruby Court around 6:30 Monday morning and detained 33-year-old Nicholas Conn.

Conn was found in possession of six grams of black tar heroin, magic mushrooms, a loaded “sawed off” shotgun, and two other guns and paraphernalia.

Detectives found evidence that Conn was selling the drugs from the home and had the guns for protection.

Three other adults and two children also live in the house.
