Members From Camp Pendleton Enjoy Rams Camp Provided By KKFX Fox 11
The NFL season kicks off in less than a month, and until then the Los Angeles Rams are hard at work getting prepared at UC Irvine. On Wednesday a special group was invited to practice provided by KKFX Fox 11.
Fans are patiently waiting to see what this new generation of Rams football has to bring back to Los Angeles. Among the crowd during Wednesday’s practice were five members from Camp Pendleton.
“Being out here with the marines is probably one of the greatest experience too,” said Joe Jacuk, a marine from Camp Pendleton.
The Rams organization gave ten tickets to television station airing the football game, but instead of keeping the tickets XXFX Fox 11 decided to donate them to the United State Marine core.
“It’s been a great experience mostly for me because I’m a huge Rams Fan and my son is here with me and he’s having a great time,” said Joe Moschetto, a marine from Camp Pendleton.
It didn’t stop there for these marines. As they were watching practice they received another surprise.
“While we were here head coach Jeff Fisher gave us 20 tickets to the scrimmage against the Kansas City Chiefs,” said Moschetto. “We are going to take those back to camp Pendleton and distributed them to all the marines.”
