Local Real Estate Agent to Donate Entire Commission to Cottage Children’s Medical Center

A Santa Barbara real estate agent promises to donate 100% of his commission to Cottage Children’s Medical Center.

Neil Zimmerman is an agent for RE/MAX in Santa Barbara. Born and raised in the same town, Zimmerman wants to help out people in his community.

“My feeling and experience just made me think about my son, my wife, how grateful I am and there’s time when people need help. These kids haven’t really had a chance, so if if there’s something I can do to help, I’m going to help,” said Zimmerman.

Zimmerman will give the commission he earns from now until the end of the year to the hospital.

“One of the things that has always been remarkable to me is that people who don’t really have a connection with healthcare, recognize the important and are willing to give,” said Doctor Steven Barkley, chief pediatric medical officer for Cottage Children’s Medical Center.
