Drugs, Weapons and Cash Found During Atascadero Traffic Stop

A traffic stop led to a drug bust in Atascadero.

Police pulled a car over going northbound on Highway 101 at the Santa Rosa exit Monday. The officer learned the driver did not possess a driver’s license and that one occupant was on probation.

When other Atascadero PD officers arrived and searched the car they found $10,000 worth of drugs, weapons, and cash.

The items included cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine, marijuana, cash, ammunition and several firearms. One of the firearms was reported stolen in San Luis Obispo County in a burglary. During this investigation three male suspects were arrested and booked into county jail for the following charges:

Possession of a controlled substance for sale;

Unlawful transportation of a narcotic for sale;

Possession of a controlled substance with a firearm;

Violation of felony probation

The total street value of the narcotics combined is estimated to be nearly $10,000.

The suspects are:

John Allen Webb Jr, 27 years of age from Atascadero

Travis Thomas King, 31 years of age from Atascadero

Eric Lee Juhl, 30 years of age from Templeton
