Two Men Injured in Weekend Oxnard Shooting Expected to Survive

Two victims hit by gunfire late Sunday afternoon are expected to survive their injuries.

Oxnard police is investigating the incident, which occurred just before 5 p.m. in the 1600 block of Morris Street.

Responding officers located a 19-year-old and 20-year-old victim suffering from gunshot wounds. Police did not identify either men.

One of the victim’s was taken to Ventura County Medical Center, and the second victim was taken to Los Robles Medical Center. Both victims are listed in stable condition.

Investigators are still trying to determine a motive for the shooting. No arrests have been made.
