UPDATE: Crane Brought in to Upright Overturned Semi

A semi has overturned on the Las Positas overpass on U.S. Highway 101. And now cranes are trying to upright the tipped over load. Traffic is at a standstill at some parts along the 101.

It happened at about 8:30 a.m. but as of 11:38 the scene is still active. The overpass appears to have been damaged, and crews are having difficulty getting the trailer upright.

We will continue to update this story as progress is made in the trailer’s removal.
