USA Women’s Water Polo Easily Defeats China 12-4

Sami Hill saved all three of the shots she faced in her Olympic debut and the United States cruised to an easy 12-4 victory over China in women’s water polo.

America is now 2-0 in pool play and will next face Hungary on Saturday in another preliminary round game.

Hill entered the game with about five minutes to play and the former Dos Pueblos High School star made some point blank saves.

Santa Barbara High School alum Kami Craig scored her lone goal in the third quarter as she showed off a nice soft touch lobbing the ball over the keeper’s head and into the goal.
