Arroyo Grande Convenience Store Clerk Attacked During Robbery
Authorities say an AM/PM store clerk was physically attacked during a robbery on Wednesday in Arroyo Grande.
The clerk is expected to be ok. Arroyo Grande police say two male suspects entered the store and confronted the clerk demanding money. It’s unclear if the suspects brandished any weapons.
Police say the suspects were wearing baggy clothes and had their faces concealed. Police chased the suspects who had taken off running with the victim’s property toward Cornwall Avenue.
Despite a search of the area, the suspects managed to evade law enforcement and remain on the loose.
