Queen Nation Rocks Concerts in the Park With One of the Largest Crowds

Queen Nation, a cover band of the 70’s rockers Queen, filled Chase Palm Park in Santa Barbara Thursday night with one of the largest crowds ever.

Over 5000 people found a place on the grass and also danced for over two hours in the scenic waterfront setting.

It was part of the weekly “Concerts in the Park” series in July.

The band played many familiar hits including “We are the Champions” and “Don’t Stop Me Now.”

The intermission also featured a surprise appearance from the La Boheme dancers who came down out of the audience for a performance and then pulled some spectators into the dancing area for a few moves to Queen music before the band took the stage again.

Concerts in the Park concludes next week with the Tearaways.
