Authorities Searching for Missing Hiker in Montana de Oro State Park

The search for a missing hiker in Montana de Oro State Park is on.

Dan Ohde, 39, had been camping at Islay Creek Campground with his parents, and told his parents he planned to hike the Oates Peak Trail at about 10 a.m. Tuesday. That was the last time Ohde was seen.

Ohde is described as a white male adult, 5 feet 8 inches tall, 175 pounds, with blonde hair. He was last seen wearing a red shirt, blue jeans, and carrying a black backpack.
