Bishop Diego VS Carpinteria Alumni Football Game
Bishop Diego beat Carpinteria 7-0 during the Alumni football game at Santa Barbara City College.
The biggest ovation on the day was for Carp’s Ray Martinez who is battling stage four colon cancer. Early in the game Martinez makes the catch and takes a big hit.
The Warriors Justin Alvarado had two interceptions in the first half of the defensive battle. The game was scoreless at the half. In the end Aaron Skinner caught a short touch down pass as Bishop Diego would go on to beat Carpinteria 7-0.
The game is a fundraiser for both athletic departments.
