News Videographer
ABC/KEYT NewsChannel 3 is seeking a full-time, exceptional videographer to join our growing staff.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a sharp eye and ear for visual and natural sound storytelling. We’re looking for someone who is eager to cover the day’s events and find unique and creative ways to showcase those stories with shot sequencing, pacing, sharp editing and the best possible visuals.
You will work either solo or with a reporter so this is NOT a ‘technician’ position, this is about compelling quality photojournalism!
We use state of the art Sony PMW200 HD cameras and edit on the Harris Velocity system. Experience with either of those is strongly preferred, along with live ENG truck experience and editing on Final Cut Pro.
What’s mandatory is a valid driver’s license with insurance, you must be able to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles and you must have at least one year’s ENG experience in a newsroom environment.
