Police Investigate Stabbing Near Santa Barbara City College
Santa Barbara Police are investigating a stabbing that sent one man to the hospital.
The incident happened around 4 a.m. on Sunday by the apartment complexes on the 800 block of Cliff Drive across the street from Santa Barbara City College.
Police said a group of college-aged males confronted another group about alleged stolen property.
An unidentified male was stabbed in the back with an unknown object.
He needed emergency surgery but is expected to survive.
It’s unknown if anyone was arrested.
