Air Service Grows at SLO County Regional Airport

Travelers flying out of San Luis Obispo County Regional Airport (SBP) will have more seats to choose from during their next flight.

American Airlines will add a fourth daily round trip flight to Phoenix beginning February 11th. It’s the third time in the last six months SBP has increased its daily air service.

The fourth American Airlines flight will arrive at SBP from PHX Sky Harbor Airport at 6:38 p.m. and depart SBP for PHX at 7:10 p.m.

Airport officials said customer use will determine if that flight becomes permanent.

SBP also offers three daily flights to San Francisco and four daily flights to Los Angeles. Passengers have 11 non-stop, jet flights to choose from everyday.

American Airlines new flight expands the number of seats to about 600, an increase of 19.28% over the average count available in February 2015.

Further flight schedule details can be found by visiting www.AA.com.
