Santa Paula Resident Mugged Outside Ventura Liquor Store

Ventura police are searching for three robbers they say stole from and assaulted a Santa Paula resident outside a local liquor store Wednesday evening.

At about 6:30 p.m., police received a 911 call reporting a robbery outside the Red Barn Liquor store located at 1285 N. Ventura Avenue. The victim told police that three Hispanic men approached him and demanded money.

The suspects then attacked the victim by punching and kicking him. The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries.

All three suspects were described as Hispanic male adults, between 25-30 years of age, ranging in height from 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 11 inches tall, and weighing between 180-200 lbs. All suspects were seen wearing dark clothing. One of them was reportedly wearing a Dodgers hat and has a heavy build.
