Santa Maria Mixteco Speakers To Receive Help For School Registration

Students and parents who speak Mixteco will have the help and assistance they need to register for the Santa Maria Joint Union High School District starting August 4.

The help is provided through a partnership between the Santa Maria Joint Union High School District and the Binational Center for the Development of Oaxacan Indigenous Communities.

Translation and support services will be available at the Lincoln Center from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting August 4th, and ending on August 20th. The Lincoln Center is located at 829 South Lincoln Street in Santa Maria.
