Solvang Tree Burn Marks the End of Julefest

People who live in Solvang said it’s easier to get around walking than driving that’s because at least 2,000 people were expected to be out watching the tree burn Friday night.

Chomp Burgers, Fries, and Shakes, restaurant owner Aaron Petersen, said, “It’s an amazing event, it’s an absolute blast as a community, old folks young kids.>

“Last year year it was a crazy time for the restaurant, because we’re right across the street from it (tree burn) and people come in for milkshakes and burgers.

This event marks the end of Solvang’s Christmas event, Julefest.
