Royals Top Dons in Girls Water Polo
San Marcos broke open a tight game with a strong second half as they beat rival Santa Barbara 13-7 in girls water polo. It was the Royals Channel League opener.
The Royals led 6-4 at the half.
Megan Bergholdt, Katie Coski and Paige Hauschild each scored three goals for the Royals.
Santa Barbara’s Kristina Garcia and Grace Raisin each tallied three goals for the Dons.
