Santa Barbara Storm Watch Update

The State Street underpass in Santa Barbara was flooded Thursday night after the storm. A huge puddle remained in the middle of both lanes on Friday, slowing down traffic and causing a big splash.

The storm also caused a little inconvenience for a couple of store near State Street, including Tino’s Italian Grocery on Carrillo Street. General Manager -Robert Macarthur said the rain seeped under the door and through the wall, leaving about an inch of water on the floor. It took all morning to clean up, but no damage was done to the store that opened up last month.
