Cougars One Win Away From First CIF Title Since 2000

The last time Ventura won a CIF title was in 2000 as the Cougars were led by superstar running back Tyler Ebell who ran behind a superior offensive line.

This year’s group does not have a superstar but they are solid in all three phases of the game, offense, defense and special teams.

The Cougars enter Friday’s CIF Southern Section Western Division final with a 12-1 record as they host a 10-3 Palos Verdes team.
