Habit’s IPO Sizzles On Day One

Investors certainly had an appetite for The Habit burger chain during its Thursday debut on the Nasdaq.

Habit priced its stock at $18 a share. It closed up nearly 120-percent at $39.54 a share.

The company raised at least $90 million through its public offering. Its trading under the ticker HABT.

The Habit was founded in 1969 in the Santa Barbara area and is ranked as one of the best burgers in the country.
