San Luis Obispo Man Arrested For Pulling Box Cutter on Store Clerk

A San Luis Obispo man is behind bars this morning after police say he threatened a store clerk with a box cutter.

The San Luis Obispo Police Department says Daniel Marcom was banned from a local Ralphs grocery store for stealing alcohol, but he reappeared yesterday and was asked to leave the store.

That’s when police say he got upset and pulled a box cutter from his pocket – holding it up to an employee. Several co-workers were able to get the weapon away from Marcom and detain him until police arrived.

He was arrested and booked with bail set at $2,000.
