Freshman Harris Stars for Bishop Diego

He is a freshman in grade only. He plays more like an upperclassman for a Bishop Diego High School varsity football team that is 9-0.

John Harris is already one of the top players in Santa Barbara despite being a ninth grader. As a running back, he has the speed to break off long touchdown runs and the power to move the pile. Harris also has great hands to catch passes out of the backfield.

As good as he is on offense, he is a dominating force on defense from either the end or linebacker position.

Bishop Diego hosts Nordhoff on Friday for the Tri-Valley League title.
