Woman Arrested For Assault After Drug Deal Goes Bad
A Ventura County woman was arrested after allegedly stabbing a man after a drug deal went bad.
Morgan Riley Marks, 18, was arrested in Ojai Wednesday after being on the run for about two weeks.
Police say Marks met up with her victim on the corner of Sunflower street and Stock avenue in Ventura last month to complete a drug deal–but it went bad.
Marks allegedly punched and stabbed the victim in the leg, police said.
Marks then reportedly got into a get away car, but the victim was able to get a hold of her shirt. The victim was then dragged several feet as the driver of the car sped away.
She was booked into the Ventura County Jail.
