Woman Runs Over Oxnard Fire Hydrant
Firefighters in Oxnard had a wet mess on their hands after a woman ran over a fire hydrant.
It happened just after noon on the corner of Flathead River Street and Oxnard Road.
The hydrant was sheered off its base and that sent water shooting into the sky above the three story townhouse next to it.
Oxnard fire crews turned off the water about 10 minutes later. They said about 10,000 gallons of water was wasted.
