CATCHIN’ COLORS FUN RUN | SANTA MARIA | SATURDAY | 11 A.M. | $20
The second Annual Catchin’ Colors Fun Run is in Santa Maria is Saturday.
The city of Santa Maria and Parks Department invites runner and walkers of all ages to participate in the 1-mile course.
The event starts at 11 a.m. and the finishes in the “color zone” where participants are covered in head-to-toe colored powder.
The event costs $20.

PIER-TO-PIER PADDLE | OLD PORT BEACH |SATURDAY | 8 A.M.
This weekend is the Pier-to-Pier Paddle at the Old Port Beach Boat Launch.
The 10k paddle starts at 8 a.m. and goes between the boat launch and the Pismo Pier.
The event costs $40 and $20 for junior lifeguards.
The paddle is in honor of Ken Harmount, and all proceeds go to the SLO Surfrider Chapter and Junior Lifeguard Program.

“TIP YOUR HAT TO SURVIVORS” | PENNY’S CAFE | PISMO BEACH | SAT. | $45
In celebration of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Penny’s All American Caf in Pismo Beach is holding a benefit for survivors.
On Saturday, Penny’s Caf will hold its Tip Your Hat To Survivors fundraiser for the Jacqualyn Palchak Cancer Fund.
Tickets are $45, which includes barbecue, cocktails and a live music performance.
