Montecito Motor Classic Brings Rare Rides, Race Cars, and Vintage Vehicles out for a Benefit Event

Classic cars will line Coast Village Road Sunday as part of a fundraiser for the Santa Barbara Police Foundation and Police Activities League for children.

Some of the cars rarely come out of storage for car shows.

There will be muscle cars, vintage vehicles, and even a 1932 Indianapolis 500 race car. Owners will be on hand to talk about restoration and car history, in the scenic setting where Montecito meets Santa Barbara.

Some of the vehicles have been out on the town already, to promote the event.

The Montecito Motor Classic is in its third year. It will be preceded by a gala Friday night.

The event takes place between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. Admission is free.
