Jamie Slone Wines Opens at Santa Barbara’s El Paseo Joining a New Premium Wine District

A new premium wine tasting room has opened at the historic downtown El Paseo in Santa Barbara.

Jaimie Slone wines is on De La Guerra at the entrance to the Street in Spain walkway that features a narrow path through the shopping area. Next door is the Casa de la Guerra courtyard.

The wines come from grapes picked from throughout the Santa Ynez Valley’s top appelations, including Happy Canyon and the Santa Rita hills. The owner says a tasting visit also comes with a wine education about our grape growing regions.

“Santa Barbara County is like the new darling of the wine industry,” said Jamie Slone. “Everyone wants to participate either as a consumer or a somebody making wine. The diversity of the Terroir here provides us the opportunity to make a lot of different varietals including Bourdeaux, Burgundian, Rhone varietals here. They are world class so we are thrilled about that.”

The site also has a private room for reserve tastings and special events.
The decor includes grape vine cuttings and both a Spanish and rustic country look.

There are now five premium wine tasting rooms in the El Paseo shopping area downtown.
