Student Veterans Find Guidance at Cuesta College

Cuesta College hosts a first-of-its-kind student veteran orientation for the nearly 300 veterans currently enrolled at the college.

The orientation was a way to provide resources veterans need to succeed.

“Our veterans have served all of us, and this is our way of serving them,” said Vice President of Student Services Sandee McLaughlin.

Cuesta College has a steady population of around 300 veterans from the armed forces each year.

The event provided information on various items, such as certification processes and financial aid.
