Thunder Over the Valley; Wheels and Windmills Top Central Coast Picks
Here’s a look at the activities happening up and down the Central Coast this weekend.
THUNDER OVER THE VALLEY | SANTA MARIA MUSEUM OF FLIGHT | 10 A.M.
The Santa Maria Air Show “Thunder Over The Valley” is this weekend at The Santa Maria Museum of Flight.
The event starts at 10 a.m. and will feature the Army’s Golden Knight Parachuting Team.
The team will be making three to four jumps through out the day and there will be plenty of other planes on display.
Admission is $12, 7-12 yrs is $3, Family pack of 4 is $25 and Active Military is free!
26TH ANNUAL DUNE RUN-RUN | GROVER BEACH | 9 AM | RAMONA GARDEN PARK CENTER
The Grover Beach Parks and Recreation Department is holding the 26th Annual Dune Run-Run on Saturday.
“Get a Little Sand on Your Sole” is the catch phrase for this 5K Walk, 5K Run, and 10K Run
The event leads participants through a variety of surfaces, including the hard and soft-packed sand on the beach front of Grover Beach.
The races are open to all ages and ability levels.
The race begins at 9 a.m. with registration opening at 8 a.m. at the Ramona Garden Park Center in Grover Beach.

10TH ANNUAL WHEELS N’ WINDMILLS | SOLVANG | SAT. 10AM | FREE
Solvang is hosting the 10th Annual Wheels ‘N Windmills Car Show Saturday.
Over 300 participants are expected to put there classic cars, hot rods and special interest vehicles on display.
The car show will be on Copenhagen Drive and starts at 10 a.m.
The event is raising money by selling raffle tickets and will be donating the funds to local charities.
