Central Coast Weekend Picks

This weekend the Central Coast is offering fun for the entire family… from fairs to musical concerts, and even a festival for history buffs.

SANTA MARIA CONCERTS IN THE PARK | SUNDAY 1-3 PM| ROTARY CENTENNIAL PARK

The city of Santa Maria is hosting their concert in the park Sunday, July 10.
The entire community is invited to Rotary Centennial Park where there will be a free live performance from the Tajano Nights band.
The band plays Latin, jazz, country and Motown.
The concert starts at 1 p.m. and last until 3 p.m.

MID CALIFORNIA STATE FAIR | PASO ROBLES | THROUGH JULY 27 | ADULTS $10 KIDS $6

A major event of the weekend is the Mid California State Fair in Paso Robles.
The fair runs through the 27th of July, and is known for great musical concerts.
Attractions at the fair include the carnival, livestock shows, and plenty of fair food.
Concerts at the fair this year include Demi Lovato, Journey and the Steve Miller Band, and Lady Antebulleum. County rodeo finals are also July 26.

Ticket Prices: Child (6-12) – $6/day… Adult (13-61) – $10/day… Senior (62+) – $8/day ($5/day on Senior’s Day: Tuesday, July 22, 2014)

CENTRAL COAST RENAISSANCE FESTIVAL | SAN LUIS OBISPO | JULY 19 & 20 | ADULTS $17 KIDS $10

If your looking to step back in time, you should head out to the Central Coast Renaissance Festival in San Louis Obispo.
This weekend over 5,000 attendees are expected to show up for the jousting, viewing the royal court, pony rides, and stage fighting lessons.
This 1585- inspired festival will take place starting 10 a.m. at Laguna Lake Park and is fun for the entire family.
Tickets are $17 for adults, and $10 for kids.
