Name Change Could Be Game Changer For Tech Company

Network Hardware Resale grew out of a garage in the 1980s and this year it grew out of it’s name.

The Goleta-based company consulted with professionals as it considered hundreds of names. The company doesn’t just sell one-and two-year old technology equipment, it services equipment and officers IT services around the globe.

Hundreds of employees celebrated the name change during a party in the parking lot behind its Goleta headquarters Tuesday afternoon.

The family-owned company is known for giving UCSB and Westmont College graduates a place to launch their careers.

A handful of employees had to keep the new name a secret, while the company worked for month to secure the domain name in various counties.
