Dozens of Residents Evacuated After Gas Leak in Santa Maria
Dozens of residents in Santa Maria were evacuated after a reported gas leak.
The accident happened Sunday night at 9:30 when a car slammed into a gas line in an alley between El Camino and Hermosa Streets.
80 people were evacuated from their homes for about three hours as the gas company fixed the line.
No one was injured.
