SLO County CAL FIRE Hiring Reserve Firefighters

The Los Osos Community Services District, along with CAL FIRE/SLO County Fire Department is looking to hire prospective LOCSD Reserve Firefighters.

Reserve Firefighters are expected to cover two 12-hour shifts per month, attend training and drills, and return for emergency call backs at CAL FIRE/STATION 15-South Bay.

The hiring process includes a Firefighter Physical Ability Test, potentially set for Aug. 9 at 8 a.m., and interviews set tentatively for Aug. 16.

The last step includes a background check and successful completion of a pre-employment physical.

Applications must be submitted by 5 p.m. Monday, July 28, with a valid form of ID, a Social Security card, and a DMV report dated within the last 30-days.
