UCSB Volleyball Controls Playoff Destiny

After struggling for the first half of the season, the UCSB women’s volleyball team has caught fire and now a Big West Conference title is in sight.

The Gauchos won a five-set thriller last Saturday at Cal State Northridge and they are now tied with the Matadors in the loss column for first place but UCSB owns the tie-breaker. If UCSB can win their final four games they will be league champions and gain an automatic berth into the NCAA Tournament.

UCSB is 10-2 in the Big West and host Cal State Fullerton on Friday and UC Riverside on Saturday.
