Temporary Highway 101 Closure To Repair Power Lines
Caltrans will close Highway 101 for about 30 minutes in both directions at Grand Avenue on Friday.
PG&E will be restringing power lines that came down Thursday night as a result of car into a pole accident. Detours will be in place during the closure.
The following detours will be in affect during this temporary full closure: Motorists heading northbound on U.S. Highway 101 will exit at Grand Avenue and will detour onto Branch Street before reentering the highway at Brisco Road.
Motorists heading southbound on U.S. Highway 101 will exit at Halcyon Road and detour onto El Camino Real before re-entering the highway at Grand Avenue.
The California Highway Patrol will be conducting rolling breaks in order to slow motorists as they approach the highway closure.
