Woman in Critical Condition After Falling Off Isla Vista Cliff
A 20-year-old woman is hospitalized in critical condition after she fell from the bluffs to the beach in Isla Vista late on Friday night.
The Santa Barbara County Fire Department says crews were called out to the 6700 block of Del Playa Drive just before midnight.
They found the woman lying on the beach and said she fell 60 to 70 feet from the bluffs. Firefighters say she was unconscious and bleeding.
The woman has not been identified and its unclear what caused her to fall.
