McConnell’s Grand Opening Helps to Cool Customers During Heat Wave
The new McConnell’s Ice Cream Store in Santa Barbara is having a grand opening event tonight just in time for the hottest days of the summer.
It’s located at 729 State St. in downtown.
McConnell’s has had its company headquarters in Santa Barbara since 1949.
This store has a unique concept that combines the widely known McConnell’s Ice Cream with a selection of home made desserts prepared right at the site.
The new McConnell’s owner Michael Palmer says nearly every ingredient he uses is “locally sourced” and purchased near Santa Barbara.
The celebration tonight takes place from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
