Employment numbers puzzle job seekers

Manpower Employment Outlook recently released a survey claiming that 22% of U.S. employers plan to start hiring in July.

However, these numbers effect job seekers very little as they are still having trouble finding work.

Some unemployed have attended local job fairs to find openings. Instead of getting bites for jobs, most have received promotional gifts .

Robert Guzman said he went to a green job fair at Ventura College and came away with a bag full items including a wallet.

Job Outlook percentages were at an all time low nationwide in 2009. But since then, the percentage has been gradually increasing.
