Downtown stabbing leads to several arrests

A 17-year-old male is hospitalized with a stab wound after a fight broke out in downtown Santa Barbara.

Police and witnessessay several people were fighting near State and Canon Perdido Streets just after 2:30 on Monday.

Police found the victim with a stab wound to his stomach. Police detained several teens near Bath Street. Police say they had injuries consistent with a fight. No weapon was recovered.

The condition of the victim is unknown. The investigation is ongoing.
