Santa Barbara Bowl gets high ranking on concert venue list
The Santa Barbara Bowl has been listed as one of the top locations to see a concert.
The bowl came in at number 44 on the list of the “50 Best Concert Venues in American” according to the website Complex.com .
The bowl is nestled in the Santa Barbara foothills above Milpas St.
It was built in 1936, and has a seating capacity of about 4500.
In recent years there have been millions of dollars in improvements, but it’s all been done to keep the venue quaint and historic.
Some of the top touring acts in the country take the state at the facility and this year that will include Robert Plant (of Led Zeppelin fame), LL Cool J, and Steely Dan.
