Annual Santa Barbara High School Jazz Festival
School organizers say this year’s Santa Barbara High School’s Jazz Festival is a success mentioning a record turnout. NewsChannel 3 is told20schools were involved and32 bands. The festival drew talent from as far away as London, England.
Music Director Charles Ortega graduated from USC. Under his direction the SBHS Music Program has several alumni at the Berklee College of Music in Boston.
