Epperson honored by Big West Conference

Joey Epperson’s outstanding weekend continued into Monday as he was named Big West Conference Field Player of the Week. The UCSB junior went 8-for14 in the three game series against No. 19 UC Irvine including a walk-off 2-run homer on Sunday.

Epperson’s efforts helped the Gauchos take two of three from the Anteaters to keep their postseason hopes alive.
