Eight SBCC athletes accept scholarships to 4-year schools

Steven Reveles and Zach Zehner headline a group of eight Santa Barbara City College athletes that accepted scholarships from four-year schools at today’s Spring Signing Day on campus.

Reveles, a Dos Pueblos High School graduate, will play at the University of Nebraska while Zehner is headed to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Reveles was the WSC North Player of the Year while Zehner led the Vaqueros with a .358 batting average.

Four women’s basketball players are moving on up to four-year schools. Sara Crane, a Dos Pueblos High School grad, signs with Notre Dame de Namur in Belmont, CA, Keia Nobles will go to William Jessup in Rocklin, CA, while Michelle Herrera and Jasmine Johnson are headed to Eastern Nazarene in Boston.

Men’s basketball player Jalani Davis is also going to Notre Dame de Namur. Kaytee Krivulka is the school record-holder in the hammer and she signs with Humboldt State.
