Royals hand Dons first league loss in volleyball

Shane Hauschild had 22 kills while Baker Johnson added 15 as San Marcos sent Santa Barbara to their first Channel League loss on the year in boys volleyball.

The Royals dropped the first set 13-25 but roared back to take the next three 25-20, 25-21, 25-16 to stay alive in the league race. The Dons are 6-1 while San Marcos and Dos Pueblos are 5-2 heading into the final week of the season.
