Truck crashes into building
The driver of a small truck rammed it into a backyard building in Santa Barbara early this afternoon, and ended up in the hospital.
It’s unknown what led to the accident on Marina and Cliff Drive near the entrance to Hope Ranch.
Santa Barbara Police were investigating as the driver, who’s name has not been released, was taken away by AMR medics. The extent of his injuries is not known.
The truck sustained major front end damages when it went through a fence into a small building on the back of a private property.
Santa Barbara City Firefighters rescued the driver from the truck where he was trapped.
